Backflow Prevention
Portland, Oregon
Backflow preventers are all around us. The purpose of these devices is to prevent water from flowing back from your home or business into public water, potentially introducing contaminants and pollutants. Your local water authority has records of backflow preventer locations and test records that are required to be kept up-to-date.

Testing, Service, and Inspections
The standard for inspection and testing of backflow preventers is an annual service that Peak Fire Protection can provide, as well as the compliance reporting necessary to keep you from being subject to fines for noncompliance. Our backflow testers are certified with the Oregon Health Authority Cross Connection & Backflow Prevention Program and are qualified to test all types of backflows. This includes those used for premises isolation, fire sprinkler systems, irrigation, and process piping.

If you are unsure if your residential or commercial backflow preventer(s) are due for inspection, give Peak Fire Protection a call and we will take care of testing and compliance reporting of your backflows.
